So I woke up this morning and as I walked to work I realized that it is FINALLY summer. The grass is turning that beautiful emerald green color and I no longer have to wear a sweatshirt. That means swimming in the river, drinking with friends in the front lawn, hiking the trails and just overall good times to be had. I need to find some fun events to attend as well, I am thinking some Saturday farmers market trips are in my near future as well.

Where did you get this (second) picture? It must be an aerial shot. I live and do a lot of photography in Corvallis and have never seen this view before. By the way I took the cover shot of the new "Spirit of Corvallis" book.
